Last Film You Watched

Made it to 52 without having watched a single Rocky film except Creed (Because of Goodison)

A few mates of mine were banging on about how much I'm missing out and Rocky IV is 'amazing.'

I have watched 1-4 over the past 2 days. All I'll say is my mates have odd taste in films.

The original is by the far the best of the bunch.

2, 3 and 4 all pretty much the same level of engagement. (Though I guess we should thank Stalone for speeding up the demise of the Soviet Union.)

I shan't lose any sleep if I don't see them again.

Unpopular opinion here, but I’ve never been a fan of the original blade runner. Looks amazing, but so boring. Sorry fans.

I liked the 2049, Denis Villeneuve one though.

No it's 100% true. Also wanted Sean Connery for Gandalf but he didn't understand the role and turned down a massive pay day.

James Cameron is pretty good at this stuff. Just like the first one, this one didn't grab me for the first 20-30 minutes, but it turned out very good. Perhaps the best animations I've ever seen. Visually mindblowing. 7/10

Still a movie series about beastility. Them tails must be riddled.

so good, the deadpan humour is amazing

over the last month i've watching nearly all Aki Kaurismäki's films and his films are so darkly funny. nearly every film is the same but different. my gf goes 'oh not him again', starts to fall asleep but then she just bursts out laughing at some parts - what a guy

Loved that film. It knew exactly when to leqve it and not outstay its welcome. The song being played by the band in the background of that picture was a killer track too.

Alien still just edges it for me, but it really is brilliant, the entire cast is on point, but it always amazes how superb Carrie Henn is, casting the wrong kid could have proper torpedoed it.

The piling on of tension, the whole situation gets worse like every 10 minutes, the Burke bait 'n' switch, the old London power station doubling as a totally believable colony, the practical effects still look great, perfect editing, belting soundtrack.

Stone cold classic.

1&2 are outstanding never tire of watching them , but don't even mind the rest of them tbh.

Some fantastic lines especially the first two.

Another Go to film Great cast , great story and the most Brutal beating I've ever seen in a film.

aliens 2 is boss but alien unbeatable , a lot of cut scenes on youtube aswell xenomorph walkin on its hand and feet looked funny

Watching Prometheus , as a prequel to Alien it does the job.

Fantastic cast & well put together by Ridley Scott.
Just a pity we don't get to see Idris Elba give Charlize Theron a good rodgering.
