Last Film You Watched

Watched H.E.A.T yesterday. I never realised just how great an actor Al Pacino is. Never seen either Godfathers, Scarface, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, Scent of a Woman or any of his films before, other than The Irishman. I'm going to rectify that in the coming week with a binge watch.
Start back in the early days and go for 'Panic in needle park'

That will show you just how great an actor he really is...

Watched that, was very good.

Having read about it, they had a lot of things go wrong with the sets, which cost lots of money and time to put right, which meant they ended up going over budget big time.

You’d have thought that someone would’ve anticipated the sting possibility of stuff going wrong, when the whole thing was being filmed on water 😂

Hopper and the Smokers were brilliant characters and deffo the best in the film.
Typical of a water based film.
Spielberg had major dramas with Jaws, and spoke/warned other directors from water based films as well due to them.

Watching a couple over the weekend

Poor Things - Hilariously bonkers and creative - just 20 minutes too long

The Changeling - A classic, haunted house tale from the early 80's that i'd somehow missed - think of it as a lesser 'Dont Look Now'

So many great films but the “You’re late” scene in the Irishman is one of the best things he’s ever done.
