Interesting side note: Mark Ruffalo and Janeane Garofalo both were once pitched an idea for a show: 'The Ruffalo Garofalo Show'.Ruffalo and Dafoe are excellent
Amazing actor.Dune (1984), so bad it’s brilliant.
Patrick Stewart and all.

I don't know if it was suppose to be a talk show or what, but Christ it sounds awful!
Thankfully they both vehemently rejected the idea.
Amazing actor.
This'll probably make the Terkkie fanboys fume, but I think he was the better Enterprise captain.
Picard has it all over Kirk. He's measured, poised and doesn't wear a cheap rug.
Rather he accepts even baldness with a quiet coolness as opposed to Shatner's over the top hammy acting.
My 2 cents anyway....
Don’t forget the Battle Pug

Loved this as a kid. One of those I watched loads as the options back then were somewhat limited.I gave this a watch again recently... Hadn't seen it in yonks:
It was filmed 30 years ago.
To go from acting as an incoherent, insane caveman to an Oscar winning performance in The Whale is some feat by Fraser!
Meanwhile, from what I can tell, Pauly Shore is still flogging 'The Weasel' bit.
Aggggg, it's still funny... Kinda.
That's true...Loved this as a kid. One of those I watched loads as the options back then were somewhat limited.
Really, really enjoyed Spaceman on Netflix. Was haunting beautiful. Won’t be for everyone though.
People tend forget about 'Waterworld' which is considered on of the biggest flops of all time.Could be a thread in itself this, misremembered movies - you thought they were great...
I am not the greatest Costner fan out there, but I think this is his most phoned-in performance going. Everything else you've covered far better than I could, but I totally agree.

He also produced it, and in the end, they wasted about $172 million of the production companies money to get this steaming piece of turd out.
At the time, it was the most expensive movie ever made Oh, and it only won one award, a Golden Raspberry Award.
If don't know what that is, it's awards for the worst acting.
Yeah, it took a couple of years from what I read.I think it eventually broke even, as it slowly gained a cult following.
It’s nowhere near as bad as the critics make out.
Yeah, it took a couple of years from what I read.
And the 'Razzie' was given to Dennis Hopper for his performance, which I thought was harsh... He was the best character in the film!
I think what they were trying go for was 'Mad Max' with water and it didn't quite pay off.
I read that one of the most expensive f' ups was a battle scene where they sunk a lot of the boats and props, and they only had one shot...Having read about it, they had a lot of things go wrong with the sets, which cost lots of money and time to put right, which meant they ended up going over budget big time.
You’d have thought that someone would’ve anticipated the sting possibility of stuff going wrong, when the whole thing was being filmed on water
