It's a bit of a crap system once you know really, as a film with 99% 3 of out 5 reviews, and 1% 4 out of 5 would have 100%, whereas a film with 40% 5 out of 5, 50% 4 out of 5 and then 10% 1 out of 5 would have a lower score as I also don't think the scores are weighted. But it also shows that there are plenty of 70%+ films that are probably great

Prefer Metacritic if I'm looking for a quick guide on what the critics thought as they use the actual average and give a breakdown of how many reviews were positive, mixed or negative.

It was so cheesy that I enjoyed it. No throat being ripped out with bare hands meant it wasn't as good as the original though
