Last Film You Watched

'Free Guy'.

Hmmm. I reckon I can picture the boardroom meeting, 'wreck it ralph' meets 'the truman show' with a little 'groundhog day' crossed with 'pixels' and as many references as Kevin Smith can pack into 100 minutes. By the numbers, shlock! Rescued mildly by Jackman and Comer. Reynolds gets more smug with every film he stars. 1/10.

Same here mate, and I agree.

Seeing Chalmet grow a pair and tear everybody a new one took me completely by surprise!

I'll give this a go mate. I'm so starved for a decent horror and you know what you're talking about!

I watched this the other day:

I loved the concept, but it ultimately disappointed me in the end. 😔

Watched it at the weekend.

Watched like a Channel 4 film.

Peter Mullan was good, as always, but it`s one of those films that you feel like you`ve seen before, so it doesn`t really hit the mark.

I thought the setting of the creepy ancient old bar was excellent though.

Agree 100%.

If they were just a little bit more creative, they could have done so much more with the plot. 🙄

Very late to the party on this, but finally got round to American Fiction.

Very, very good. Laughed out loud a lot at some of the satire, but a surprisingly warm and moving family story at its heart. Jeffrey Wright predictably excellent, but a great supporting cast around him.
I went to uni with the writer/director (Cord Jefferson). Really happy for him and all his success—he’s a great guy
