The First Omen.

Prequel to the original.

A valiant attempt to make a film that marries up with the original, that ultimately fails.

It’s filmed in a way, that tries to give the impression that it was filmed in the 70’s, which makes it feel all arty and like a Hammer Horror reproduction.

It’s not all bad, the setting in Italy is beautiful, the lead is really good and generally the writing and acting is good.

It’s just that nothing really happens for a big chunk of the film and it doesn’t really get going until about half way through.

It’d be a good one to watch at home by yourself.

They’ve left the ending open for another film to link in with the first.

That exorcist they brought out last year was one of the worst films I’ve ever seen, boss films them omens I even think the one with sam Neil in it is good

Seeing Chalmet grow a pair and tear everybody a new one took me completely by surprise!

I loved the concept, but it ultimately disappointed me in the end. 😔

I tried to watch that on the cinema, but it got such a short release, that I missed it.

There`s loads of horror films coming out this year, looks like they could be back in fashion again.
