Exhuma - cool Korean supernatural horror film. Starts off as more of a mysterious thriller, then goes full monster horror towards the end. Good show put on by all the main cast. Worth checking out if you like foreign films.

Just got back from Godzilla x Kong and yes, yes, yes it’s a 12/10 for me and I hope it wins all the awards. Every second got more ludicrous. No film is topping that this year. Maybe ever.

Still as funny as I remember it 15 odd years ago. Malcolm Tucker is a magnificent monster.

Eight for Silver ( now on Netflix )

Best described as a Gothic Horror and a fresh take on the Werewolf genre.

Set in the late 1800’s a dying gypsy lady puts a curse on the Lord of the Manor and his family, leading to the reincarnation of a werewolf.

Boyd Holbrook is the lead and plays a forensic scientist very well and is supported by Kelly Reilly as the Lady of the Manor.

I really enjoyed this, as it’s well acted, suspenseful, creepy and really gory in parts. The CGI is minimal, but very good.

One for fans of old skool horror.

Don’t know if you ever played the original resident evil 4 but the location, the lighting and some of the scenes were more than reminiscent of that game… locked in a house, monster outside, lack of ammo survival horror. I was perhaps a little harsh and will upgrade my score to

7 out of 10 chainsaws.

He nails the English accent in this, which is rare for an American actor.
