The dammed united for a second watch. A great movie, Clough v Revie. Great era of British football dramatised and acted Sheen, Spall, Broadbent and Meaney so well.

I caught up with it again as it's on BBC iPlayer, great casting, they all nailed their parts in looks and voice

Some stand out performances by Niamh Algar and Cosmo Jarvis.

Like Bull, a low budget film, that shows with the right people in charge and the right cast, you can still make good films.

I think Bull wins quite comfortably for being incredibly disturbing and unsettling though.

Star Trek Generations - Kirk chops wood, rides a horse, makes his woman scrambled space eggs and kicks ass. Picard gets pretentious on a boat, pretentious with a photo album and then gets pretentious with a Jacob Rees-Mogg family Christmas. Data gets totes emotes. Malcolm McDowell gets awesome in one of his great scenery chewing white hair era performances. Also features busty Klingons mentioning they watched Geordi La Forge have a shower on a hidden cam. Good stuff.

Star Trek First Contact - Pesky Borg shenanigans lead the Enterprise crew back to Earth the day before 'First Contact'. Picard channels his inner John McLane, fully functional Data gets sexually assaulted while Geordi and 'Howling Mad' Murdock from the A-Team get all gushy fanboy over a drunk hobby rocketeer. The best TNG film, maybe the best Trek film overall.
