Last Film You Watched

Freaked me out that clown
I think the most prominent fundamental misapprehension about the film's main antagonist 'Art', is that despite the film's moviemakers categorically stating that he is a clown, his 'performance art' is more indicative of that of a mimes. 🤔

However, a mime doesn't fit the narrative that the filmmakers are trying to create, that being clowns are scary and mimes are annoying! 😂😜
Clowns 3.webp

I'm going to try the second one tonight - even though it's 140 minutes

I'm expecting a few Shakespearian monologues along the way for that length
Hahahaha, well I can tell you that the gory scenes are a lot more 'creative'.

And the third one that's due to be released soon is supposed to be even more 'creative'! 😂

Watched the remake of 1979's Saloms Lot last night, not a patch on the original in my view. Seemed rushed from start to finish, missed lots of detail and character detail and for me that ruined it.
Yeah completely agree….all I thought all the way through it was…what was the point of making it? Brought nothing new really (except one scene), but generally speaking boring as anything. The Soul and Lowe versions were superior. Not sure you can make it as a movie unless it is a 3 hour plus movie. It needs that longer run time to set the scene and characters

Cracking move that as 1) it is genuinely good and 2) I thought that franchise was dead and buried.

The only criticism I can possibly level at, is that at 1hr 20 mins it’s too short and almost stops the film dead, just as it’s starting to get going.

I’ve heard that the follow on is going to be a proper running length though.
