Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey
I used to love this as a kid, and haven’t seen it probably for a couple of decades but I really enjoyed watching it this week.
Additionally, I was stoned which made it even better. I particularly liked the part where Bill and Ted are in Hell, totally nonplussed by the gravity of the situation (describing massive balls of fire coming towards them as ‘Excellent’), and this dramatic reveal of the devil himself - this huge red, demonic giant surrounded by chains, obviously Satan and Ted says “whoa, whose that?”

All the Devil's Men (2018)
The definition of mediocrity. Not one interesting or likeable character in the entire film, the banter was piss poor (as was the rest of the dialogue), the action okay but not great. A highlight was seeing good ol' Willy Fichtner. All in all a very predictable film filled with clichés. 4/10
Get the Gringo (2012)
This was a lot more fun and memorable than the previous one. Decent cast with Mel Gibson being his charming self, and I enjoyed the prison setting. It had some pretty poor CGI though, I guess they spent all their money on actors. In no way is this a masterpiece, but worth the three-ish quid I spent on the blu-ray. This is btw the fourth film I've seen this week, that's had zero bonus material. Seems like they don't want to give us any incentives to buy physical media anymore. 6/10

Animation was brilliant and some bits are good but overall an average movie. Storyline is a bit of nothing and the fan service lines dropped in gave me Rings of Power PTSD. Not awful but I wouldn’t watch it again.

Not watched it yet but the Arrow Films new 4k of Demolition Man turned up this morning a few days before it's release date. That's tonight's viewing sorted.
Watched that Red One on Prime. Just a bit of goofy Xmas action fun.
Superb movie, stallones sleepy good guy is his finest role of his career
Absolutely terrific, really good fun. Had me in stitches at times. Well recommended for a feel good Friday.
