@ijjysmith wasn't bad at all mate, some fun nods to other movies as expected with a Seth McFarlane movie, a few fun cameos.

Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried and Sarah Silverman were a delight.

Guardians of the galaxy -- 9/10 . Brilliant must watch for everyone.

ENEMY and BAG MAN are just out in cinemas here this month, I saw both last year.

Theres a sequel ? Hercules is rubbish mate.

Just watched the purge ahead of watching the sequel tonight at the cinema. The idea of all crime being legal for 12 hours and what some people will do is interesting I think. Raises the point of selfishness and morality well I thought. Was not disappointed watching this for a second time but I reckon that Hercules with the Rock(sorry Dwayne Johnson) will be a disappointment but will still watch it before the purge:anarchy. Do enjoy the cineworld card.

Bought it last year for 30php. No subtitles so I returned it. Had very good reviews from memory.

watched a film called Zulu with Forest Whittaker in it, not the Michael caine version.

A good solid 7/10 enjoyed it.

Guardians of the Galaxy was FANTASTIC. A really great fun movie, not just a sci fi action adventure but some great comedic one liners and humour in it. The Motown music track just works, unbelievably.

Dave Bautista (Batista from WWE) is brilliant in his role as Drax and is going to become a big Hollywood star off the back of this, maybe not as big as Duane 'Rock' Johnston but big in that he'll get regular roles.

The film itself has been a HUGE success in America thus far, projected to do a $90m opening weekend, which is $20m above initial projections.

It will wind up being the biggest opening weekend for a movie in August of all time, breaking the 2007 record set by The Bourne Ultimatum ($67.3m).

Agreed hercules was a pile of turd. Purge:anarchy was actually very good. Spent a lot of time on the ideals of the purge rather than the violence which made the film a lot more than just the tag of torture porn.
