Without the weirdest thing I’ve seen in a long time - The Monkey.

Ultra ultra black comedy horror.

Two young twin boys find their absent fathers toy wind up monkey in the back of his cupboard. Every time you wind it up, someone dies a horrific death.

Gruesome, funny and weird.

Shades of Tarantino, shades of Final Destination and shades of Hunter S Thompson.

Just a mad mad film, loved it and destined to be a cult classic.

Rush hour 2, another sleepless night involved trying to shut my brain down and i haven’t laughed so much in about 20 years. Possibly better than the original. Chris Tucker was on forms the MJ rendition in the bar had tears rolling down my cheeks.

His China accent and delivery was brilliant.

9/10

Is it pain, or is it your mind racing? I'm not in an easy place at the moment, having to knock pain medication off for a day or two because of getting used to it, so it's better to go through a bit then ease back into some release.

So far as CT goes, give 'Friday' and or 'Money talks' a whirl. Not seen 'Air' yet.

Stress / body tension I think. - I love Friday, one of his best I think. I don’t think I’ve seen Money Talks???

Same re: pain medicine I have to take supplements to ensure the pain medication is t making my guts even worse.

What a life eh.

I've considered a name change, 'Spinal_Blair' (or possibly _Richie). Lost over a decade to this thing. Pain killers only effective so far.

'Money Talks' is similarish to 'rush hour' iirc, with the added bonus of featuring 34 year old Heather Locklear. And that's a win! (also has Charlie Sheen, who after 'Wall street' and 'Platoon' had the world at his feet, cameo in 'Ferris Buellers', made (a comedy-->>)'Major league' and 'Eight men out', then started making anything that came his way - a very similar career trajectory to a certain unnamed other actor with a famous last name.)

Watched this last night. A seasoned FBI investigator tries to infiltrate a hardcore fanatical white power group in the early 80's. Based on actual events. Hardly a date movie but very absorbing and Jude Law does really well - he's actually a very talented actor and this is a great role for him. Worth 2 hours of your time, absolutely.View attachment 296026
Gets good write ups, 92% on rotten tomatoes. Lower elsewhere but that will probably be down votes from the gammon army upset at white supremacy stuff getting negative play.

Will be giving this a go.

He really is and such a wide range of roles too. Massively underrated and appreciated IMO. Cheers. Looks like one for me noisy mind one nights
