I’ve watched a few commentary tracks on movies I’ve seen a lot of times. I find them (usually) quite interesting. But why John Carpenter on Rio Bravo? I can’t say I’ve ever watched one with someone talking over it that doesn’t have anything to do with the movie in question.

I've just finished watching Unthinkable. It was decent enough, but I'm not a fan of movie titles being said by a character in the film, I tend to find it a bit cringeworthy.

What about a title drop, which is also a 4th wall break, in the first 2 minutes?

Finally watched the French release of Count of Monte Cristo

Excellent but, for me, inferior to American version with Jim Caviezel

Some literary differences in interpretation of source material in both films too

Forgot how insanely funny this was and I didn’t know Chris Tucker had no script and ad libbed his character, also - I’m ashamed to realise how he ripped off Eddie Murphy in Beverley Hills cop.

Still a very funny movie and helped me during a 2am episode of no sleep. 9/10

I love him in Hook as well, and his voicing of The Genie in Aladdin and Batty in Fern Gully were brilliant.

There's a few shorter youtube videos where Carpenter talks about the movie. He watched it as a youngster and it had a big impression on him. His film "Attack on precinct 13" is also pretty much a rip-off of Rio Bravo, according to Carpenter himself!

Schindler’s List on BBC. I’m sure we have all seen it before. The shower scene is probably one of the most powerful and upsetting scenes in cinema.
