The Order, on Prime.

Pretty bang average, but an interesting story, which I thought could have been done a bit better. Ok though, watchable. And a surprisingly good performance by Jude Law.

Have to admit I enjoyed it, I wouldn’t rave about it. I don’t think it’s going to win any Oscar’s but I thought Nicholas Hoult was very good in it. I did think the end was a little anti climatic. I know it’s based on a book which is based on a true story so if that is how it ended what can they do

John Q on Netflix starring Denzel Washington, Robert Duvall, Ray Liotta and James Woods.

Early 2000s I think. Obviously made to highlight the greedy insurance companies and shocking US health care system.

It was basically Dog Day Afternoon in a hospital. Media circus, Public on his side, 2 cops fighting about the best approach, his hostages all love him and so on. Happier ending though 🤣🤣

Yeah, I didn’t mind it. Just thought the story was interesting, performances were good, but was lacking a bit of spark, either in the writing or direction.

I watched that (sober) and didn't even realise that was Jude Law.

Thought it was OK personally. Not great, but OK.
