Last Film You Watched

Again on Inception, it's another movie that yeah probably does try to be too clever for it's own good, but I don't even like it for the "idea" behind the plot, I love the character angles: the heartbreaking story of him losing his family and how he is fighting to get them back, the tragic suicide of his wife, the nagging guilt inside Cobb's head that nearly ruins it all. It's not just the fancy CGI and the camera angles, it's a truly gripping suspense film with a great "twist" at the end.

I watched City of God and Harry brown again last night. Two excellent films imo. Last I watched at the cinema was the turtles and I really do feel ashamed watching that dross. I have to teach myself that just cos I have an unlimited card for the cinema does not mean I need to watch Hollywood dross

So I did watch Titanic last night.

Man that film is long. I'd forgotten how long it bloody goes on for.

It's alright though. As that type of film goes. I guess. Obviously i'd seen it before but not for ages.

I was just left with a lot of questions at the end. Is it a bit sick making a love story movie out of a disaster where like 2000 people died? Dunno. Same for Pearl Harbour and loads of movies I guess.

And what on earth is the last bit about? When she's on the plank of wood where there is clearly CLEARLY enough room for both of them to get on it?! And then she says something like 'i'll never let you go' and then within less than 5 seconds she'd let him go. What a horrible biatch.

Anyway, it's an alright film.
