Last Film You Watched

Watched dawn of the planet of the apes. Utterly terrible. I didn't hold out much hope anyway and i was only watching for a few young lids but it was utter dross!
Spot on,I thought this movie could have been something but instead it was nothingness

In the last week I've watched St Vincent very good Predestination a good watch and Fury not bad but not great, all courtesy of moviebox

So I did watch Titanic last night.

Man that film is long. I'd forgotten how long it bloody goes on for.

It's alright though. As that type of film goes. I guess. Obviously i'd seen it before but not for ages.

I was just left with a lot of questions at the end. Is it a bit sick making a love story movie out of a disaster where like 2000 people died? Dunno. Same for Pearl Harbour and loads of movies I guess.

And what on earth is the last bit about? When she's on the plank of wood where there is clearly CLEARLY enough room for both of them to get on it?! And then she says something like 'i'll never let you go' and then within less than 5 seconds she'd let him go. What a horrible biatch.

Anyway, it's an alright film.

3 Championship Belts out of 5

Sounds interesting this Titanic film. Is there any painting or stereotypical Irish dancing involved?

Exodus Gods and Kings...

Tells the story with no action or emotion--the kind of acting you expect from a documentary, lifeless. Also the story should be EPIC and yet they have altered the story to make it boring with scenes jumping between 3 sets and not showing the overall picture.

Visually very good indeed but rather boring.

Christian Bale's presence gets it 3 out of 10.

We finally got round to watching The Wolf of Wall Street, at the end it felt like I had been pinned against the wall and slapped around a bit. Also I hadn't appreciated that it was in fact a comedy.
Yet to watch it myself, mainly because I imagine it must be a film for "lady ladsters" seeing as the amount of "inspirational" Belfort quotes plastered on twitter after it's release.

This week has been a right mixed bunch:

Star Wars: A New Hope

We've all seen it. Most love it. I love it.

My fave bit is still when the storm trooper smashes his head on the door. I laugh every single time. Makesme laugh every single time.

Oh and Death Stars and stuff.

The Great Outdoors

God I miss John Candy movies. This isn't even one of the better ones, but he's so good and nobody comes lose to this type of character these days.

The raccoon bits in this are annoying but everything else is so 80's I love it.

Remember those station wagons with the wooden veneer effect on the side that we never had over here?

80's.

Terminator 2 - Judgement Day

All because of the Upcoming Films thread.

A great great movie and I prefer it to the first one I think. I have one single gripe about this film.

Right near the end. Arnie has been battered, lost a robot arm, one robot eye showing, t-1000 melted away. Hard ROBOT Arnie pipes up and says 'I need a vacation'.

NO.
