Two days, one night.

Very interesting yet simple film. It's about a lady who will get sacked from her job if she does not get enough votes from her fellow employees to stay. The choice is her to stay, or the remaining employees receive a 1000euro bonus if they vote few here to leave/not get her contract renewed. The main character goes to each person asking them to vote for her to stay as opposed to getting their bonus (they are all factory workers so it's pretty substantial.) Should add that this is actually a re-vote, the workers voted for the bonus on the Friday, so their families etc would know about the money coming in. This is a vote on Monday.

Makes me wonder what I would do tbh. Would I prefer a new TV/patio or would you try and help another person and their family (who they hardly know.)

It's really good.

A Hard Day's Night was just on BBC 2 - the lids are no actors eh? But it's still a very handsome film. I'm not a huge fan of the Beatles if I'm honest, but given the time of year I got a bit melancholic seeing a young and carefree Lennon arsing about. RIP John & George.

Godzilla - post Xmas hangover just wanted a film to watch without thinking, and was correct, the plot didn't require thought. Some occasional strangely excellent scenes though, the sky drop from above the clouds with that eerie music ....10/10
