Last Film You Watched

Watched "A million ways to die in the West" yesterday, it was OK, not as good as Family Guy or Ted. I was expecting more people to die all the way through the film, as like a running joke, based on the title and the trailers I had seen, but not that many people did die.

It was fun and there were some good performances in it, Charlize Theron and Neil Patrick Harris, were probably the stand out performances.
 
Watched True Grit (2010) today.

Meh.

Was alright I suppose. I'm no huge Western fan (unless it's Young Guns 1 or 2 OBVS) but it was a little slow for me and the girl did my head in a bit.

And that plotting bell Matt Damon is in it.

Man, I looove True Grit. Their best film for me, but then I love westerns. I think all three lead performances are great and Barry Pepper too. That face off in the end is so good

Do love the Coens. Jeff Bridges is the main character too isn't he? Love him too, played some of my fave roles - The Dude and Ram from The Wrestler.

Yep, him, Hailee Steinfeld and Matt Damon. I guess Steinfeld is the "main" main character. She more than holds her own though. And Barry Pepper in his white fur leggings looks so cool.

Don't think Bridges was in The Wrestler though, that's Mickey Rourke

D'oh yeah! What a douche! Great film. @chicoazul should watch that if he thinks Wrestling is 'fake'.

The Wrestler is fantastic. Not seen it for ages.

Could be tomorrow's movie.

Quite hard going if memory serves me. Then R-Truth turns up randomly in it. And everything is ok again.

The girl should have won an Oscar for that, she is superb, great little actress.

It is a slow paced western but as with all Coen films, and indeed Tarantino, the devil is in the dialogue, nobody does talking like the Coen's and Tarantino.

True Grit is a good 7/10 for me.
