They normally say when a film is made that is based on a book that the film never reflects the book, because the book is always better, looks like it doesn't this time, my other half said the book was piss poor, and read like it was done by a 10 year old.

I read a few passages out of curiosity when the wife was reading them, and its utter tosh. Turn the S&M into normal sex and the books would just be one of zillions of crappy novels being sold for a penny on the kindle store.

Saw love and mercy couple of days ago. Was a good film I thought , didn't know much about the beach boys so was quite interesting
Been that way since the first sequel to be honest mate.
Took my lad to see the new Terminator.
Imo Arnie saves it, as the rest of the cast are woeful, even more wooden than him - at least he's funny and sends himself up.
Sarah Connor - is now tiny and hardly has a presence .
John Connor - looks like Bill Murray with scars.
Kyle Reece - looks like every other American beefcake actor and as wooden.
It's a mix of all the Terminator films and way too complicated for kids. About 30 mins too long.
Swerve and wait for it to come out on pay per view .

watched the new Mad max film wasn't impressed, hardly any story line got boring after a bit.

Be prepared to be disappointed, if they make another I won't be going .

Saw the new Terminator last last night and wasn't that impressed tbh. Just a bit bland imo. They've never been able to recapture the magic of the first film and are just milking the cow at this point. Schwarzenegger is the only saving grace to this film cast wise. Awful, bizarre cast choices for other main cast. Film was to long and dragged towards the end. Some funny moments and decent action scenes. Much better then the 3rd and 4th films but that isnt saying as they were horrendous and this was just mediocre. 6/10
