Last Film You Watched

Watched the Martian last night. Not 3D because I hate 3D.

It was pretty good to be honest. It looked great, Matt Damon did well and it felt like the type of adventure I imagined having when I was young.

The only thing that ruined it was the flickering Exit sign behind my cinema seat...

I trust you've read the book. I feel it might have worked better as a TV mini-series, give it more chance to show Clough's personality a bit more. Film felt a little rushed.

Not read the book no mate.

I can see what you mean by rushed. It's a relatively short film (which is probably why I liked it!).

Sheen though.

There arent enough good sports movies around....

While working from home yesterday I watched....

The Damned United (2009)

Seen it before but was in the mood for it again.

It truly is one of the best sports movies of all time. And quite possibly the actual best football movie ever (not that is has much competition!).

Michael Sheen's portrayal of Brian Clough is ridiculously good and spot on.

I can't reccomend this movie enough for every football fan.

4.5 Championship Belts out of 5

Apt Pupil.

Seen it when it first came out and gave it a second look last night, very good.

B+

Ive seen so many of them, its more of a case of what movies i havent seen thesedays.

Had high expectations for draft day...oops. then other recent ones all seem to have a christian message which is fine but the stories are all the same...

Would highly reccomend Moneyball.

I saw American Ultra.

Rubbish.

Ah man, looks so good in the trailer, even though she's in it! Love Jesse tho, and heard good thinks elsewhere. Prob won't get to watch at the cinema anyway as normally only go with my gf, so we see stuff like Hamlet (tomorrow) instead...
