Last Film You Watched

In prep for Spectre we watched Casino Royale on the big beamer screen. I'd seen it a few years before and still loved it: the whole time I was like "boah!" "fkk!" "wow" "haha!"...alas my fairer half (her first Bond film) was more like "this is all so cheesy and unrealistic...and why does he keep pouting while dreamily staring into the distance like he's in a perfume advert?"

The Lost Boys.

Boss.

@ijjysmith me and the missus are making November an 80s film month. No idea why. Any hidden gems?

Loads. What sort of thing you after?

In fact I'll give you a little list:

Fast Times at Ridgemont High (I bloody love this movie and it has bewbs)

The Burbs

They Live (starring Rowdy Roddy Piper)

And one that I've still not seen but am almost guaranteed to love as it's basically the Corey's (Feldman and Haim) messing about on cars - License to Drive.

Tango & Cash

This could go on forever so I'll stop here.

Weird Science
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Roxanne
Beetlejuice
Mannequin

That's my contribution to your list of viewing. Not to mention things like Ghostbusters, Gremlins, NeverEnding Story etc.

Weird Scene is a bit poo though, eh?

War Games
Labyrinth
Willow
The Untouchables.

If you want an 80's movie that just wouldn't be made today I reccomend 'Soul Man'.

It's a comedy about this kid who doesn't make it into college so 'blacks up' to get a Basketball scholarship!

So bad that it's good.
