Well i'm in Leicester haha so the local indie cinema was showing it.
Liked it so much though, came home and watched it online with a few mates again.
Thanks mate. Would appear it's had a very limited release for some reason, which is strange considering the stellar cast and the reviews it's had.

I watched the new turtles movie the other night.
Actually hated it. Clearly not aimed at me though so i'm not going to all be negative about it. I just found the film very much like a formula movie, just every box ticked along the way, nothing suprising just predictable. But then it isn't aimed at me and the lad enjoyed it so that is the main thing.

The intern - okay feel good movie de niro is pretty good in it but there's no real substance to the film just easy to watch.
Lady in the van - actually thought this was a pretty good film, pretty unique and Maggie smith is very good in it, not to everyone's taste but enjoyable.
The wrestler - love this type of film, made me hate Mickey Rourke less, big fan of gritty films.
And finally the martian - thought some parts of the film are really enjoyable don't think it's as good as people make out and the jokes in it didn't really make me laugh but it had a lot of meat on the bone and worth it for the ending

Watched Zelary last night at the delightful boho Deptford Cinema. Good film. Like many Czech films it's about the war, but well done imo. Think it was up for a best foreign film Oscar when it was made. The guys that run the cinema are Czech so they have a few Czech films on in the next few months.
