Continuing my viewing of Vietnam war movies after the excellent 'We Were Soldiers' I watched the classic:

Platoon (1986)

Great great great. But we all knew that already.

I'd put We Were Soldiers just ahead of it I think if I had to.

But still an easy 4 Championship Belts out of 5

Next up is: Good Morning Vietnam which I have excellent memories of so hope it's aged well.

Any other Vietnam way movies people would reccomend other than Apocalypse Now and Full Metal Jacket which are on the list already?

I remember being like that thats how i know so many,also remember reading a brilliant book about a brit fighting in it infortunstely cannot remember the name of it

I've been reading a bit about Britain's involvement. Like how we officially didn't get involved. But did a bit. On the sly.

Yeah read a bit but this was a lad that enlisted he had an American parent so decided to join the fight

I thought that when i read it,though for the life of me i cant remember what it was called, I got into it after reading about the Korean war

If Kennedy hadn't been knocked off, there would not have been the 'Vietnam War' ( as we know it)

I can highly recommend this war film too, slips under the radar.

Story of a Russian tank crew that become seperated from their unit when the Russians where fighting in Afghanistan.

Stephen Baldwin and Jason Partic are the leads .

Case 39. Utter pants "horror" film. Renee Zellwegger with such an annoying squeaky voice after 10 mins i was rooting for the devil child.

I can highly recommend this war film too, slips under the radar.
