EitC's head.Mental isn't it. Who on earth thought having a Conservative Chancellor invited to the club was a good idea.

We've known that for months. I just hope we sell to the right consortium with Everton at heart and not the highest bidder.
Have we been merroed?
If we do get sold it's the single best chance we have to hold onto our top players, Lukaku and Stones are out of here in the summer otherwise.
And if new owners look at how Martinez has performed the last 2 seasons he might be out the door too.
If not Tranmere, then try Bolton (who used to be Tranmere's rivals). A small, insignificant club that has achieved next to nothing, who also have a new stadium.
Imagine Bolton in a league without relegation and you have the Padres.
I think if we get these guys they'll build us a new stadium, get better commercial deals and then sell for a profit. That would be ideal too, we need businessmen to run this club.
Sunderland would be a closer comparisonFair enough. Like I've just said, they're like Bolton in a league without relegation.
Not sure on reliability of source but allegedly gone through. BK stays as chairman.
True. If it was that close to actually being completed im sure some jorno would of reported a least something. £200 m deal going through and nobody's saying anythingCan't help but think if it was complete there would be a little more than 'so and so told so and so' or 'so and so got a random letter'.
Patience still needed.
I think the takeover people at first just buy a majority shareholding (i.e. the shares of Kenwright Woods and Earl). Once they have completed that purchase they may have to offer the same share price to other shareholdersI was about to ask the same question - surely shareholders would be told that the club was being sold?
