Would be fun just to see how a few on here would behave toward another inept board

This...

Red kits and re-branding us "The Everton Wizz/Buzz/Whoosh of Liverpool" would be tone-deaf even by American standards. The real concern would be that they're targeting us just to extract the growing TV money, while minimizing expenses by maintaining the status quo on the pitch (which could be so much worse than most want to acknowledge).

A Chinese takeover probably poses greater risk of a spectacular, flamboyant collapse, but also seems far more likely to provide the oligarch-actualizing-his-xbox-career-mode that everyone seems to want so badly

Milton Keynes (and originally Dublin if I remember correctly) says Hi!
And MK created such an outrage that they immediately changed the rules so as not to allow it again. And that was with a lower league club who were facing administration. If you think the same is even remotely possible with Everton Football Club you're dreaming.

I

I am not trying to be smart CS , but I wonder which of us is naïve.
Anything can be uprooted, for those who say the FA would not allow it, did they try to stop the move to Kirkby ?
Kirkby is classed locally as Liverpool. They wont move to another part of the country no way

I agree with you about the location. Just pointing out that I would not trust the PL or FA bigwigs as far as I could throw them.

If the 'big X' (X means think of any number that is suitable at any time) foreign-owned clubs decided, for example, to set up a franchise league within Europe and it was decided that Liverpool would be the only club within Merseyside, I think the powers that be would wring their hands most pitifully and then look at the money that this league would bring the 'sport'. See Champions League plans, domestic cup competitions, World Cup allocation, transfer and youth regulations, etc.

Premier League Handbook, Rule K 6.2 no longer allows stadium moves such as MK Dons.

I heard they were making us play in red and call us FCLiverpool and change the name of Goodison to Park Anfield
