I have no doubt in my mind we will be sold very soon, the game changer is Bill's health.

Never a better time to buy a Prem club, next season bottom of the league will get 99m, and 64m in parachute payments for being relegated.

So £99m for coming bottom, Bayern Munich got 54m for winning the league in Germany last year.

this plus the inflationary results of the latest chinese communist party directive/money-laundering innovation makes 50m for Stones sound like a bargain

He can get Woods his coffee and biscuits then.

I notice also from the last accounts that Carter is bizarrely still mentioned as a director.

That's a strange conclave we have right now: a sleeping director in Florida; a man now deceased, BK in London, Jon Woods and the CEO.

The word inertia springs to mind.

Did we ever find out who is getting paid £250K this year and last?

There will be a £100m player within a year i reckon.
The bubble, when it does burst will cause utter carnage.

Easily, Man Utd bid £144m for Neymar in the summer apparently, which is his release clause.

If Messi goes to Man City in the Summer he will be about £120m, or if they pay his buy out clause, £250m

Saw Fanatics mentioned as buying Kitbag. This will be great for making Everton shirts more available in the US. Most websites that sell team apparel here have turned over the operation to Fanatics, so you'll be able to buy from many different sites.

On the flip side, if Fanatics is out of stock then everyone will be out of stock.

Some teams might want to come straight back. £99M plus parachutes to go back to the Championship, where you can operate on a smaller budget?

I think this is definitely a model some will try. Promotion perhaps through the play offs, minimum of £160 million over two years even if relegated after year 1. Survive a year and that rises to £270 million minimum over 3 years.

Mid range championship club may be tempted to make a dash for it.

Will be interesting to see how clubs (of all levels) handle the TV money over the next few years. For some it's like your average Joe winning the lottery--even for the richer clubs it's like finding out your recently-deceased uncle left you a substantial sum of money in his will. More than a few clubs will blow it on prostitutes and cocaine (both figuratively and literally, I imagine.)

It isnt, cos everyone has won the jackpot. Average players will cost more, and be paid more.

The better players will still migrate to either the top clubs, (trophy wise), or the cash titans like PSG, China, MLS.

Was ever the case.

And one day, the TV cash will go down.

Most of it will go to the players, but not for all clubs. CBA looking up Bournemouth's historical turnover, but I'm guessing £99M from TV next years is 5-10x their turnover 3 years ago. Even EFC had a turnover of £86M in 2013--they'd get 50% more from TV alone in 16/17 for finishing ~8. EFC could legimately double turnover in 4 years from this. I think we'll see at least one club "do a Leeds" in the next few years, even without a decrease in TV money.
