Coming from Everton's official press release newspaper that's a pretty significant article. Looks like the deal is pretty close then.

I try and avoid coming on this thread if I can, because once the Esk and some of the other lads get going in ref to business etc, I get a stonking headache, and blackout trying to understand it all.

Me too at times. But a leveraged buyout, is, in essence, a bit like buying a flat to rent out.

You borrow the money to buy it, but instead of paying the mortgage back out of your income, you rely on the rent (TV money) to repay it.

So much less risk to you. Sort of anyrate.

With the exception of Guangzhou, no other side sustains its investment properly. Boom and bust.

Going with chinese would be short term gain for long term misery

Using my 5 stage process, I'd say they are somewhere at the end of stage 3, with exchange and completion the remaining stages.

However a higher bid from another party may change that.
