I didn't say they'd be ok though did i? And as far to wait and see what there plans are, you're correct and i doubt any blue would say any otherwise, but don't write people when as you said yourself wait and see what their proposed plans are.
You implied they would be o k cos they have made a few bob, and like I said, the yanks ain't got a good track record with football clubs, which was also spelt out by MoutsGoat ,but I will leave it there,we are going around in circles, bye X

Could argue that pre Glazers the competition wasn't the same financially against them mate, City where a none entity as was Chelsea pretty much

But Arsenal, Newcastle, Blackburn and the RS were all at a different level back then too. Could argue Arsenal still are mind.

Anyrate.

Short: not failed yet
Khan: not failed yetl

fulham were relegated, and i can't imagine anyone in Sunderland is especially impressed

anyhow, who knows... i would feel much better if they're to be part of a team of existing shareholders willing to stay distant and fund gradual changes, rather than a complete takeover and overhaul

I think if you give a fair assessment of the data, there aren't any good track records concerning ownership of football clubs.

But I've spent my efforts on that in another thread

TL;DR: success is mostly random, very hard to control

Fulham were crap before the half season Khan owned them in which they were relegated. Sunderland likewise should be content to yo-yo, or do you disagree?

I'm underwhelmed by the Yanks as their plans for Swansea were next to f all,
I also wouldn't trust our boards judgement on anything positive to happen off the field, our Charity excluded,
I suspect that the overall winners will be the current and new major shareholders.
Worrying times for me.
