It's a business deal, there is no need to interact with minority shareholders and fans. Simple as that.

of course not you see the club as nothing more than a set of business executions, tell that to the fan base who supported and sustained the club w before Sky and these owners turned up and will be long after these one are down the road with fat wallets.

I think you're missing the point mate. There is no obligation on the buying or selling parties to share any information of the deal with anyone else. There is no scenario where the fan base would be consulted on anything to do with a takeover.

I think you'll find what hibbo said is called - reality mate.

1. Allow the details of the preferred bidder to be shared with all minority shareholders and fan base before the deal is signed.
2. Examine all the potential bidder options on the table and report back to the minority shareholders/fanbase the risks and rewards of there blueprints plans.

It,s very clear that since the exclusivity period has ended the club has no intention of sharing the blueprints of the preferred bidder until the deal is locked up. What we have seen is the club putting out controlled press releases via the echo to let everyone know we have forgotten you but "we know what,s best for you". Tell that to the Swansea FC , it,s fans forum and shareholders who walked away from these current bidders, at least they understood transparency and that football is a community not a financial VEHICLE.

It stinks to high heaven !

So you mean what we have seen the club being ran the way any business is in regards to a takeover/sale, Jesus mate - minority shareholders don't have a say and don't need to be privy to the details - thats the way it works, as for the fanbase - errrm yup and yeah ofc Asda would consult with the people buying groceries there should they be subject to a takeover.

Swansea City Supporters Trust owns a 20% share of the club btw, as such it is involved in things such as takeover talks etc.

As for Swansea - yeah they are a great example of what we should be aspiring towards mate and no club has ever walked away from a takeover and looked back to regret the decision ... oh wait a minute...

People need to get out of this entitled attitude they are taking, there is a lot of absolute bells amongst the fans, a lot of conspiracy theorists etc - lets consult all those too, even get Watched Toffee in for a meeting and get his opinion.

But by all means list what you are worried about so we can judge if you have valid concerns with any actual merit in them

I cant wait till it's all boxed off and they have a big press conference with all these lovely plans of what they plan to do with the club, new stadium etc etc, how long have we waited for something like this to happen?
At last a vision of moving the club forward!! I may just have a little wee in my pants!!

Appreciate that and I hope other fans are thinking similar.
I'm sure that once Elstone reads your feedback he'll be rushing to arrange a meeting so you can paw over the finer details of the proposed deal mate, and give your expert opinion on the finer details of the equity bid.......

At around £8,500 a share you can include my shares as well lol
I wouldn't be getting rid of your shares just yet, in 4 years time give or take the club will be for sale again, this time with a new stadium done or in the pipeline. Chinese/Arab investors will guarantee you a profit of much more than £8500.

I think the yanks come in, clean house and sell to the highest bidder.

Spot on....
