Don't see Wolves selling him just yet, he's basically their only experienced back up to Moutinho-Neves.

Think Neves is staying one more season given Barca can't find enough pennies down the back of the sofa to sign him, not sure if Moutinho's contract has been extended yet as he was talking of leaving himself.

Feels more likely a January move but no harm in enquiring. Forgot about the Thelwell connection so he'd obviously be talking to these guys on daily basis in last few years so would know their mentality at least.

They extended Moutinho the other week mate for one year

Cheers.

Guess Dendoncker could push to leave rather than warm the bench (he regularly gets called up for Belgium so that's something else to consider) but Wolves have very little depth at CM so don't see this being a move confirmed for start of season, more August 31st perhaps.

Just looking at Wolves squad and I get the feeling of Thelwell is just ringing up old mates to see if they want to come....how long before he dials Adama Traore's number....

They are in danger of losing him on a free, once a player is into their last their contract year market value depreciation is weekly.

However, anyone knowing their football knows midfield is a weakness for us, so fire up football manager do player search on contract expiry and link to Everton...

Suggests we are looking at playing 4-2-3-1 Which would probably suit us most with the players we have.

Wolves have an option to extend his contract a further year apparently

Dont see Dendoncker adding much in the way of variance he brings an awful lot of what Doucoure does at them moment, running, presence in the engine room and in the box, bullying by size. Unless your sticking two either side as protection for a Gilmour to play from deep.

Have both in heartbeat here. Dier was outstanding under Conte, like Hjoberg
Dier is a CB these days so it's not the best comparison.

Anyway we shouldn't sign Dendoncker because we already have enough midfielders (like Doucoure) who can't kick a ball

He doesn't really do anything with the ball at his feet. His passing and carrying abilities are really lacklustre.

He would add a bit more presence to our midfield off the ball and he is definitely a threat from set-pieces but I don't think he's what we need at all.

We need to do better than this.
