Excellent post ,good read ,nail on head and all that. What concerns me most is our failure as an organisation to provide our manager with the reinforcements he required. It is not first time either we have previous, lots of it. Martinez last season went public in the need for a playmaker we know how that went . It's been a bi- annually recurring problem for years now and patently needs addressing ,urgently. In the end Southampton were able to provide Koemans requirements far better than ourselves. Sad. I mean Enner sodding Valencia!

Agreed fully. I read it back and thought it was a lot softer than what I really thought. But that fence is like a magnet for me to perch on.

January transfer window just got a whole lot bigger for Everton I reckon. And they need to be in a good position to lure players when it comes around.

Through no fault of his own Koeman will find himself under the most pressure from this summer's window meh.

2 from me.

Now that everyone and their mar's had their say, I'll just give my tuppence.

I don't believe we'll see top quality buys until our dockside dream is rubber stamped. Talk is cheap and players of the pedigree many of us hoped for will want something concrete to look forward to if they're asked to buy in to something and leave the, presently, more well-rounded clubs. I'm not that bothered, currently...but I want to see the Aubameyang's, Laporte's and Morata's of the football world at New Goodison Park within the next 5-7 years (someone, somewhere just spewed their drink after reading that...).

Get to it, Everton.

Frustrating to the point where you'd like to take a monkey wrench to your computer, but it's times like these that bring out the best of you. Koeman is still my hero and not the pretender some make him out to be.
