Hello ‘Blue To The Bone’. I must confess that I am actually a Leeds fan but I always like to check out other fan forums to see how opposition fans are feeling about the game. This forum has a good feel about it so I have made my first ever post - hope I don’t get a thumping! Just looking at some of Everton’s history and it’s amazing that you have been in the top flight since 1954 unlike the trauma of supporting Leeds. Shared some quality players too. Gary Speed, Aaron Lennon and one of my favourites Olivier Dacourt. There has been new turf put down for tonight’s game, hope it’s good. Our last home game was embarrassing, it was like playing in a potato field. I’ve absolutely no idea how the match tonight will go. What do you think?
Never been to Goodison but it looks like a proper community. Look at the ground surrounded by housing. Bet that’s ace on match day.View attachment 116498
I thought that .
Absolutely no idea . 2 of the most unpredictable sides in the most unpredictable season.

Personally I think CA will go with......

Olson
Holgate Mina Kean Godfrey
Gomes Doucoure
James Sigurdsson Richarlison
DCL
Cant see anything other than a Leeds win, much the better side at Goodison. Better fitness, pace, aggression and work rate plus they will want it more. We`ve seen how this Everton team deals with a press, woefully. Unfortunately Leeds to complete a league double over Everton in their 1st season in the PL, Liverpool will pull away tonight and Villa to overtake us, putting us 9th. Ultimately I think that is, more or less, where we will finish 7th-9th.

Looks like you will consolidate your position in the PL which I'm sure was the target at the start of the season.

So i think for the good of everyone its best if you give us the 3 points with a stress free 5-0 win to the Toffees.

Speaking about the new pitch, hope it's all settled down as that makes me nervous. All we need at this stage is a players foot getting caught in the new turf and their knee exploding and being ruled out for whats known as "Gbamin time".

I think he'll go for Davies as he's a bit more mobile than Gomes

Edit : though I thought similar on Saturday but he felt felt slug Gylfi would be the best option.

I can't decide if we're a mid table team punching above our weight or a potential top 6 team that has terrible off days...

Whatever, even after Saturday's debacle I'm optimistically thinking that there'll be a good reaction from the lads tonight.

2-1 to us.

Unfortunately I think fabian delph will come straight in next to Doucoure to 'help' digne defensively. I can also see a right side of Godfrey iwobi, with James in the hole. Sigurdsson just can not keep his place after last week.

You say that but he has played the majority of games and hasnt really been outstanding in any, far from it...

7.30pm kick off, how boss is that.

Like the good old days, expecting Graham Beacroft or Kevin Keetings to do the radio commentary and maybe get 2nd half commentary in full!!
Tie an onion to your belt, stick a 'no irish allowed' sign on the door and your back in your glory Middle-age years.

Hopefully on the coin flip of which team we get, we'll get the good team that wants to win tonight, not that other lazy team that seem to be happy just coasting to a loss
