I don't gamble anymore, but I couldn't believe the price Leeds were to beat us at Goodison. Not sure on the odds for tonight, but I would have them at about Even money.

Hello ‘Blue To The Bone’. I must confess that I am actually a Leeds fan but I always like to check out other fan forums to see how opposition fans are feeling about the game. This forum has a good feel about it so I have made my first ever post - hope I don’t get a thumping! Just looking at some of Everton’s history and it’s amazing that you have been in the top flight since 1954 unlike the trauma of supporting Leeds. Shared some quality players too. Gary Speed, Aaron Lennon and one of my favourites Olivier Dacourt. There has been new turf put down for tonight’s game, hope it’s good. Our last home game was embarrassing, it was like playing in a potato field. I’ve absolutely no idea how the match tonight will go. What do you think?
Never been to Goodison but it looks like a proper community. Look at the ground surrounded by housing. Bet that’s ace on match day.View attachment 116498
I think 7 times out of 10 leeds beat us. It's all to do with style of play, coaching and the attributes of leeds' players. Your team have mobile players who are encouraged not to dwell on the ball, who are almost telepathic in knowing where their teammates are, and are coached to zip the ball about QUICKLY. Our players, for the most part, are slow, dwell on the ball, making it easier for opponents to press and overturn possession. Although leeds players are fast and mobile, it's the actual speed of their one touch passing that advances them up the pitch so quickly. Nice style of play against our ponderous, slow, predictable play. I hope I'm wrong obviously but leeds will probably beat us tonight.

Looks like you will consolidate your position in the PL which I'm sure was the target at the start of the season.

So i think for the good of everyone its best if you give us the 3 points with a stress free 5-0 win to the Toffees.

Speaking about the new pitch, hope it's all settled down as that makes me nervous. All we need at this stage is a players foot getting caught in the new turf and their knee exploding and being ruled out for whats known as "Gbamin time".
Could be a goal fest either way. Bought the new turf from Spurs after playing on their pitch. I’d have preferred to seed the pitch myself! Few buckets of grass seed instead off 300K. I feel sick already, nervous about the match. Good luck mate.

Can't wait for this. I'm off early. Going to order a Hung Po from around the corner and watch the blues.

Phillips ran the game agaist us last time hope we dont allow that again, we have got to be 200% better than the last game to have any chance.
Saying that the way this season has gone results wise who knows?

Not to be that guy but doesn't 200% better mean 2 times better? If so we are getting beat 5 nill.

I hope I'm wrong, but I fear the way they play and the energy they show will be too much for our statuesque midfield. With a bit of luck Sigurdsson is on the bench and that will help

Hope I'm wrong... but after watching the equivalent game at Goodison, Leeds have the exact style of play that will beat this current Everton team (especially the way it's been playing last few games) on most occasions... pace, quick passing and interchange, attacking in numbers, support in the box, everyone knows what they are doing.
