Sure he used to spank in direct free kicks fairly regularly for Swansea. Surely that doesn't get worse with age?

Its Ok challenging for the ball, but Davies hasn't a clue what to do with it afterwards..no creativity at all

On the face of it I just can’t get my head round that team, it looks a mess and pretty much the exact opposite of what seems logical against this Leeds side. Happy to believe there’s method to the madness though, I certainly hope so.

It looks extremely slow, we play so slow and the slow players keep getting picked.

Stop Kalvin Phillips and you stop Leeds. So I don’t mind resting James, looked shattered in the second half last couple of games, and some massive games coming up we need him for. Didn’t wanna see Sig starting but last time we gave Kalvin Phillips the whole of Goodison to do what he wanted, so sticking Gylfi close to him does make some sense.

Davies deserves to start ahead of Gylfi and Gomes though

I agree that we need to stop Phillips, but you dont do that by putting a cardboard cut out of a footballer 10 yards away from him at all times, and thats exactly what we've done.
