Keeps coming back to this. The squad really is poor. One or two missing and we look bang average. That midfield is awful. Sigurdsson is beyond dire. He's actually the new Schneiderlin, except less committed.

But in this instance I don't think Carlo has helped.

Davies does have more energy than Gomes, so if you're going to play Gylfi, play Davies deep and let Doucoure get about.

You cannot play two of Gomes and Sigurdsson in the midfield in the Prem against any teams other than maybe West Brom or when the game is stretched late on. It puts far too much pressure on the othe remaining player. Throw in the fact that Leeds are one of the fittest teams in the league...
