Teams spend money on tosh every year but get nowere.
Swansea will do well again as they havent gone ott and so will saints as they did last year. Newcastle should do better and it will be interesting to see villa
For me i think palace, stoke and west hame may struggle a little as they have soent abit and expectations will raise without adding any really proven quality bar cabaye

I just don't want him to pass back or sideways 5 yards to a player who isn't anywhere near as talented for them to play the forward or long pass to the wing. When he takes the responsibility and looks up you can see his talent either when he passes long or dribbles. Even today there was a pass he hit to the wing with his left foot over 30 yards inch perfect. I doubt too many of our other players could hit that and he does it with little effort but he's got into this awful habit of playing safe.

And speaking of biffs...isn't there a local team you can put your efforts behind instead?

Spent all last season sitting round moaning b@#t#$s last year that it spoilt going to the game. That much i have decided to move seats and my uncle hasent got a season ticket for the first time in 20 years snd decided to just go the aways
Twitter and here is full of the same.
I will support everton win, lose or draw whoever is on the pitch otherwise we should all give up and people will only dtart supporting the sky 5/6.
We have 8/9 quality players in our team and even at points (man utd, wolfsberg) last season we could take teams apart.
We have a special bunch of kids coming through and to many signings would stunt their progression, we havent got the big bucks so id prefer is to have an identity as a team that makes players, instead of a team of the many of also rans.
When the fans are behind the players goodison is a brilliant place to be, when they arent it must be so so hard to play in (barkley for example) (3-0 up v qpr and boooing a pass back).

agreed we should be bring in more players this window. I was just pointing out that clubs like Villa and Stoke really aren't spending much considering the players they've sold. If it's Sept 1st and we have this same squad then i'll understand the fume going on but martinez has said previously he was waiting til late for certain targets.

It's not about the amount spent. We need 3 quality signings before the window closes, and that's only if we keep our best players. Don't care if they are cheap, free's or loans. We haven't utilised the loan market well in 2 years now. Apart from Besic, McGeady and Cleverley our squad hasn't changed in 2 years. A lack of fresh faces made us stale last season.
