I know it was . Not sure the point you are trying to make . I'm not talking literally about playing Leeds. Last season in away games we capitulated almost every time we came under pressure. I see a change in mentality and defensive solidity this season.

I understand your point about us capitulating in games away from home last season but, you say we lose that game last season and your not literally talking about Leeds, but you used Leeds to make your point when in reality we didn't lose to them last season and were unlucky not to beat them. I know what your saying though. ;)

what’s that got to do with us having no striker which helps win games? jack all lad
Because they are absolutely miles better than the other teams. Sorry mate but you are chatting wham here, I don’t remember DCL banging in goal after goal every game last season. Maupay has never banged in endless goals in the premier league. Reality is we haven’t won a game, and now have to play massively better teams than who we’ve already played

Really worried looking at that fixture list. Really, really hard run of games coming in RS, Arsenal away, Wham, Soton away, United, Newcastle away. We could be in huge trouble after that
Maybe we will, but we were mentally weak and disjointed last season. Lampard identified this and that’s half the reason he wants people like Coady and Tarkowski. I’m confident that we might have a run where we don’t win but it won’t spiral into a 15 game run where we get smashed every week and heads drop as soon as we concede. I think we’ll be alright- another decent striker before deadline would make me more optimistic though!

We really, really, really need a bit of luck. 3 points from 15 but we have hardly played bad. Looking at the bench I'm not sure if I could blame him for not using any. The offside is so tight. Patterson should have buried his chance but he is getting better.

I thought our possible eventual squad players - Davies, McNeil and Gray - all had hardworking games to the manager's plan. I voted for Gordon because he was the one player looked dangerous each time he got the ball and for his defensive work. Gray could have scored again if VAR didn't penalise a leaning armpit. McNeil and Davies were knackered at the end because of the work they put in.
Onana and Patterson look like great additions to the side and Pickford again showed his worth.
Solid at the back even in a four, competent in midfield and dangerous in attack without a recognised centre forward. Away draws against Brentford and Leeds this season. I would have taken that given their results so far.

Because they are absolutely miles better than the other teams. Sorry mate but you are chatting wham here, I don’t remember Dominic Calvert-Lewin banging in goal after goal every game last season. Maupay has never banged in endless goals in the premier league. Reality is we haven’t won a game, and now have to play massively better teams than who we’ve already played

no mate if you don’t see a difference then you never will and we will see what we’re made of
