If the club knew that two games were at stake with the Friday noon deadline, they are negligent in not pulling out all the stops to push the transfer through a few hours earlier.

If they didn't know about that deadline being for two games, they are also negligent.

Obviously we’re a shambles all on our own for not getting him through sooner but that’s a disgrace from the league if we’re being honest. How does it make sense that registration like that would effect 2 separate match days, it’s not like a club couldn’t sign players on a bank holiday. It should always be 24 hours before a match day, even if you want to count bank holidays for whatever reason then it would be 48 hours before. Asinine decision but it’s not surprising.

I'm pretty sure it's the PL who the players have to be registered with. Not the FA.
