Dyche has just shown there the limits of his game management and tactical ability. Until the first sub, Lindstrom and Ndiaye had been critical for our pivot to attack. As soon as Harrison came on we lost our outlet on the right. Iroegbunam for ndiaye made it so we had no wide outlets. Should have been Dixon for garner. And iroegbunam for doucoure.

Agree with most of the points regarding ndiaye...feel he has to be taken off due to him pressing the turbo button all game.

If garner is going to be as narrow as he is, then he may as well play on the left. Can bring dixon in then instead of young.

My default position is to support the coach, in this case dyche, but young is seemingly a guaranteed 90 minute player week in week out. He had a decent game today, tbf, but is notable due to its rarity. Due to this, I want dyche gone, but what would plan b be?

Mangala had a decent game but was knackered at the end and diving in all over the place. They all looked goosed at the end actually, constantly holding on to the ball and getting caught.

Mangala and Young were two of Everton’s best players today but I understood Nydiaye getting most of the votes not just because of his goal but because he was our main outlet going forward, Linstrom and Dominic were pretty poor, did Linstrom do anything right, I can see he has a bit of class about him but nothing is coming off for him especially in the last two games, maybe when he gets fitter and used to the pace of the premier league he will shine.

Just got in from the match. Took a detour to visit my brother and his missus.

Proud of the players. They worked their socks off. But we just don't have the quality. I'm more worried than I ever have been. I fear the kopites will get their wish and that we will be in another battle for our very survival this season.

Once Lindstrom went off there was no relief and esp so when Ndiaye went off as you said. Just invited the pressure on. Definitely needed Dixon in as an outlet. Doucoure actually did well as a cm breaking up the play deep he's not a 10 anymore. Once he went there the game was done. Yet the female co commentator waxed lyrical about how good a number 10 he is
