I couldn't care a fig for Leicester. I hope they blow the title to spurs which will mean crying Leicester fans AND crying Arsenal fans. I hate their kick and rush clog and hoof game and I'm sick of being told that as a supporter who doesn't follow "one of the big teams" I should support the crisp bothering bastards. Well no, I shouldn't and I don't. I want my team smashing the status quo. Not the crisp boys. Instead we're below [Poor language removed] Stoke

#meltdown

Martinez arrived and said 'I'll get Champions League' and we felt all positive. But why didn't he say 'I want to win the league'? Because there's a mentality amongst the also rans that it's unachievable.

But now Leicester have shown it is not. And hopefully that will shatter the illusion we've been under for decades.

So yes, we did need Leicester to inspire us, cos no-one/nothing else was inspiring us.

Well put.

I honestly think it's a bit pathetic that we need them to do anything for us.

But I'm not asking anyone to think the same as me.

It's also a bit insular to think it's just us who will be inspired by them.

Every single team will be thinking the same.

West Brom will be thinking 'if they can do it so can we'. So will Stoke. So will Swansea. (Villa...probs not!)

Hence why I think it will be harder than ever before.

Perhaps it's pathetic but thats not a reflection on us its a reflection on the league the past 20 years. So with that said just cause the league is in this pathetic situation that some 'nobodies' that ain't us had to come along and show us the way and instill believe we shouldn't be putting our noses up to it. 2 wrongs n all all that.

It's fantastic that all teams are thinking like that it still gives us a better chance than normal as the school of thought generally was it just can't be done but now every team thinking they can do it makes it a hypothetical 20/1 shot. That's much better than zilch. So it won't be harder with all of us thinking we can win the league.

Also the point of saying Leicester winning it going to make the big boys that win it all the time get angry and will forever doom us to them, errrrmm, winning the league all the time so it is better to just let them win all the time...... Ye see what I'm getting at.

I don't exactly agree that it would make them stronger than say if thier rivals win it. But what a depressing defeatist stocholm syndromey point of view either way. I hate to see you try hard to see negatives in such an ultimately positive thing.

Leicester winning the league will be the best thing to happen to English football since the RS stopped winning the league.

It will be good, but as ever with experts, they make it out like the league is going downhill etc because one of the so called better teams dont win the league, yet when one of the bigger so called teams win it,they are moaning we need someone to win it that never does lol, cant win with them, big test for leicester will be next season when you might not expect them to be anywere near the top[ if that happens],add to that the champions league to cope with and the euro 2016 players they could have and so on

The people tell me how good it is for them to win it the less likely I am to believe the same.

Like when yer ma used to keep telling you to tidy your bedroom. The more she went on about it the less likely it was to happen.

Whilst I totally get your point, it's very easy to read that post in a very different way!

(the last good thing to happen in football was the last time the RS won the league)
