Leicester City Football Club

Probably a very fair point to be honest.
Teams keep dropping points all across the league. It's a strange old season this one, my accumulators have been well and truly written off so far.
Consistency has Leicester first, we need to start picking up points and putting a run of wins together and who knows where we might end up.
We're certainly capable.

I really like them and Ranieri. They're playing great counterattacking football, which is thing I love. Decent club, wish them all the best - of course I want us to finish above them, but it's good to see someone different in the mix at the top. Won't last forever, but it's very enjoyable :)

Apart from Mahrez and Vardy I'm a big fan of N'Golo Kante. Impressive and powerful.

My son in law is a Leicester fan so I certainly do not begrudge them their brilliant season. Hope they have a serious wobble on the 19th though!
They are a good team playing with confidence and a system that suits them. Every reason to think it can continue until key ingredients begin to wear off e.g. Fatigue to play such pressing, injuries to Vardy or Mahrez. Good luck to them.

I've already said I like them as a club but we do need to just consider their fixture list.

They've played 15 games so 4 more left to take them to the halfway stage.

Those 4 games are Chelsea, us, Liverpool and Man City. Arsenal put 5 past them and they drew against United and Spurs.

If they are still up there in January - then we'll know they really are the real deal this year!

Everton 1984-1985
Leicester 2015-2016?

Maybe?

Everton go to Oxford in the LC QF, scrape a 1-1 draw and win the replay - get to two finals and win the FA Cup, follow up with a stellar season and win the title in 1985.

Leicester are set for an obvious relegation miles away from safety - put together a miraculous escape.. following up with an amazing season..

Could happen (at any rate their achievement this season is astonishing).

They can definitely spoil the Kopite Krimbo Krackers on St Slippys Day

Good King Claudio last looked out
On the Feast of Steven
Aldo had a titty pout
Cos the game weren't even.
Brightly shone the Foxy lads
Made the Sh*te look too-els
Put 4 past poor Mignolet
For Kopites it was cru-u-el

Not knocking the lad but it shows how the standard of the league has dropped when Danny [Poor language removed] Drinkwater is one of the best performers.
Why? Because he's English, or because you've never heard of him before and he's not gone for £15m in the past.

Started off at Man U and had to drop down to us for regular football. Wouldn't be the first person to leave and big club and then work their way back up to being a good player.

Have they played anyone good yet?
Everyone but 3rd, 7th, 11th and 14th. Names don't matter it's how they are playing... with us being top I'd have thought that way obvious.

Honestly though, we don't expect to win it or to even get top four. It's just a massive laugh at the moment, probably as good as safe by December. No pressure for another year so everyone is just loving life and enjoying the moment.

Arsenal also battered Man U the game after I think. What you don't know is that we probably could have been 3-0 up before they even scored, after hitting the post and bar on top of scoring.

The Spurs and Man U games I'm actually disappointed with, despite conceding huge amount of posession we still created the better chances. 6 points from 9 out of those three games wouldn't have flattered us.

Lots of could haves there, but we did ok against them.

We changed the defence after the arsenal game as well (we were playing a striker at left back). Since then we've not conceded a goal from open play in 8 games and looked much more solid, without actually losing anything attack wise.
