Reckon I've made my feelings pretty clear on this. I don't want them winning it.

But I don't mind admitting it's pyar jealousy on my part. I'm bitter that it's not us doing it. It's not Leicester's fault either. If it was West Brom, Stoke or whoever doing it id be the same.

No, I don't want them winning the league and being better than Everton. I'd rather the normal teams win it if we're not.

That a strange way of looking at it. Leicester wining is romance in football and will make us all believe that that could be us next season, this will send shockwaves through English football for the better. Would like Leicester to win it rather then the rich clubs who are trying to buy the league.

It's not strange at all.

If it's not one of the normal teams winning the league it should be us. In fact I think it's weird that other people don't think this.

Everton shouldn't be needing Leicester or anyone doing something for us to beleive we can do it. That's pathetic. We should just be doing it.

I also despise this notion that Leicester are this poor team. If they were that poor they'd still be in League 1.

Agreed.

It means its doable without spending 100's of millions on foreign talent and it can still be done with good coaching and personnel rather than a bunch of superstars.

we aren't doing it mate because we are stuck midtable dropping points and seem to have a collective voice of 'give martinez time' despite the results just because he signed a couple of boss players.

Compared the leiscter, who aim was to stay up last year nothing more. then they take one look at their manager, decide what direction they want to move into and change him, and now top of the table. Over achieving but they had balls to change the manager when they thought it wasn't going well.

the minute the board (which ever one it is) looks at our games, looks at our results and says this isnt good enough and we do something about it is the minute we can even think of copying leiscters rise this year.

Recent polls suggest that is not true. Unless you mean our backroom (I refuse to call them a board as they don't feel like one).

i mean just all over. We never done it with Moyes and we wont do it with Martinez either, we deserve to be where we are because we won't do anything about it. Whereas Southampton and Leicester are two examples recently of a club changing their manager with an obvious plan in mind because of results and it has paid off.

Which is all fine. And I don't necessarily disagree.
I just don't want them winning the league as a constant reminder that we didn't. Or even try to.

City or Arsenal winning it is just fine. It's normal.

I have admitted this is a bitter view, and I am jealous of where they are.

Each to their own and all that. Leicester have a lot less to be jealous of than the norm that you call them.

If they can do it why cant we eh.

That's exactly why it irks me.

I totally understand that my view on this is the minority view and that it would be a nice story. Sadly my brain thinks it's a awful reminder of where Everton sit.

Aye.
It's not that I don't like Leicester.
Just massively jealous is all. It's been Roy of the Rovers stuff so far

I can't decide whether we are sitting at the Captain's Table or, just sitting & waiting with Sydney Youngblood !

Exactly. Leicester are not on my list of hated teams at all. I'd feel the same if it was West Ham, Newcastle or anyone really.
I'd feel worse if it was them, entitled c()ckmuppets that lot.
I can't bring myself to dislike Leicester, they're a fairly likeable lot but it frustrates me no end where they are at the moment.

Leicester are where they are because they are a good team/side, we are where we are because we are a very average team/side !!

Also, they have been very lucky with injuries. Even Vardy's was minor. If it was one of our key players and we were in their position, I guarantee that it would be a hamstring or something that kept him out for the remainder of the season.

At least they stuffed the RS and show what a bit of passion & believe can achieve so hopefully some of that will rub off on our lot when we next clash at the cesspit
