Sure, which is why you'd fear they'd be able to captilise on a cl run in the way spurs have and we haven't.

But that team still cost half the money to assemble that ours did and is paid 26 million pounds less.

When we make someone look poor, they're quite poor.

Of course. I'm just saying that money had aided their success.

Or they'd still be at Filbert Street and probs still in League 1.

But my point stands it's not necessarily them I've peeved at. It could just as easily be Stoke. Or West Brom. Whoever it is it's not us.

Can you do the math please mate.

Everton

Players bought: Kone 6 million, Joel 2 million, Mcgeady 2.5 million, McCarthy 13 million, barry 2 million, besic 4 million, Galloway 4 million, Luakau 28 million, Tarashaj 3 million, lennon 4.5 million, Deulofeu 4.3 million, Niasse 13.5 million, mori 9.5 million, 1.4 million on various youthe teamers = 107.7 million

Agent fees = 19 million.

Wage bills: £66m, £69.3m, £74.7m = 210 million

Players sold: Naismith 8.5 million, Duffy 1.5 million, jelavic 6.5 million, Anichebe 6 million, Fellaini 27.5 million = 60 million

Net money spent on transfers = 107.7 + 19 - 60 = 68.7

Total money spent on players = 68.7 + 210 = 278.7

Leicester

Players Bought: Okazaki 7 million, Huth 3 million, Benalouane 5.6 million, kante 5.6 million, Inler 5 million, Gray 3.7 million, Amartey 5 million, Ulloa 8 million, Simpson 2 million, Lawrence 1 million, Kramaric 9 million, Mahrez 750,000 = 59.65 million

Agent fees = 8 million

Wage bills: 36.3, 36.6m, 48.2m = 121.1 million

Players sold: Wood 2 million, nugent 4 million, beckford 1 million = 7 million

Net money spent on transfers = 59.65 + 8 - 7 = 60.65

Total money spent on players = 60.65 + 121.1 = 181.75

I'm suggesting nothing, I'm flat out calling him a liar and a fool.
WT actual F.

Since Martinez has been here we've had a net spend of £48M. Leicester have had a net spend of £49M.

I'll leave you to the grandstanding BS statments. you leave me to deliver the facts.

Ha Ha Ha.

It doesn't count if you make it up in your own head mate.

None of those stats are wrong.

Yours isn't either of course.

If you look purely at net spend rather than gross and ignore agent fees and wage bills than leicester have spent 1 million more.

But I feel like ignoring the agent fees and wage bills and the gross transfer spend gives you a much less complete picture than when you look at all the spending on the football team.

They've spent, just like any other club in the division in the last few seasons with the extra cash rolling into the PL. This isn't a case of a club that's bucking trends just yet. They have achieved the square root of F.A. at the moment. They are within spitting distance of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th clubs and United have the course and distance pedigree to reel in 10 points over 14 games. It gets harder physically and mentally in the last few months and I expect Leicester to fall out of the top four.

If that happens then they fit the profile of other gallant challengers from the pack who didn't quite pull it off, including Everton.

Remind me the last time Everton were Top in January David.

@Allezfan (leaving here for Goodison FFS), school this chump till I get back.

Kramaric 7million, Mahrez 350k ;)

So, last 2 and a half years, we've spent 278.7 million and Leicester have spent 181.75 million.

City in that time have spent.

Players bought: 339.8 million.

Agent Fees: 29 million

Wage Bills: 216 + 205 + 193.8 = 614.8

Players sold: 91.5 million

Net money spent on transfers = 339.8 + 29 - 91.5 = 277.3

Total money spent on players = 277.33 + 614.6 = 892.1

So 3 times what we spend. And 5 times what Leicester spend.

And Chelsea and Utd and Arsenal tend to spend close to what City spends.

It is a hell of an underdog story if it comes off.

Books will be written and movies will be made if they pull it off.

I am jealous, but if we can't do it more power to them. If it were Newcastle or Spurs, then that would be another story in my eyes.

I would wish them well but their fans are insecure little weirdos so hoping they blow it in a cruel manner.

I have been hoping this spawny run would "put them on the map" so I can work out exactly where Leicester is and then beyond find explore if it has a purpose on this planet other than exporting dull cretins.

"someone please like us, why don't you want us to win the league, you must be bitter etc etc etc" I don't like them

still jealous though :(
