Iheanacho made a huge difference, I don't think Vardy had a touch apart from punting one into orbit. As soon as Iheanacho came on it freed him up a bit and he suddenly livened up.
He's had to change his game under Rodgers. For large parts of games he's anonymous but then pops up with something. Don't know if that's his way of prolonging his career by decreasing his workload

If that happens to me as a player, I’d be angry as anything for the next game.

Here’s hoping the same feeling abounds in the current team and we then go on to put that right at goodison in the quarter final.

I think you´re a good team and you´re taking advantage of the top 6 being all over the place this season. You´ve invested really well in getting players who can win matches at both ends of the pitch. I feel like that´s something we have a dearth of. Hence we are struggling to stay out of the relegation zone and you´re the closest challengers to Liverpool.
Soyuncu has been the real surprise. Not missed Maguire one bit

Just a quick question do you think it would of been better to get beat 3-0 then lose like that today after playing well. Was having the conversation with my dad and brother and that moment seems like the same last season with Pickford at Anfield. And we know how that killed us off for a period of time. The worry is now we are already in bad form. Don’t get me wrong I liked that we played Better but it feels the same.
Surely better to play well and lose by a slim margin. Up to Marco and the team to get them up for the next game and build on this. Maybe a bit of anger about the injustice of today? Might motivate them

Yeah mate I seen an interview with Rodgers saying similar. It certainly worked today because he came alive once the 2 chances came to him (one header which he put over)

Real opportunity missed today for us to take the 3 points or at the very least we should have left with a point.

Our inability to manage certain situations came back to bite us on the arse again.

With the fans disgruntled with manager would a draw have been the worst possible result for you today? Or do you think the fact it was a tight game gives him a stay of execution?

I thought we played well. Most of the action was in front of their goal. They passed it beautifully across the back, and drove their own fans up the wall. A 1-1 would have been a fair result, the linesman had his flag in the air straight away, we stopped and Leicester scored, this is why Pickford kept on at the ref long after. Even my Leicester mate thought it wasn’t right, but enjoyed the win. At least it keeps them close to the RS and I can’t wait to beat them this week.....

We keep Silva and we could genuinely go down here which would essentially be the death of the club under this leadership. I can’t name a worse team than us in the league, let alone 3.
