So where's the sudden confidence come from? lol
I suppose that a wee bit of confidence stems from beating Chelsea and Man Utd in recent weeks. Keeping a few clean sheets. Playing ok against Liverpool , albeit getting beat. And just looking that wee bit better as a team.
And I suppose that the main reason for being confident is that we are all hoping that Leicester are deflated by their recent defeat. And that they are leggy and tired. All that is of course conjecture. And being Everton…….anything can happen. But we have to be confident. We have to want this.
I’d be disappointed tomorrow if this Everton team don’t turn up. Our players have to want this more than Leicester do. No excuses tomorrow. No passengers. No nonsense. Just win this match. Up the Toffees.

I'd be more confident if this team didn't have an enormous track recordo of completely bottling any presentable chance they get.

True…..but we can’t have them beat before a ball is even kicked. It’s all just about hoping that the team turns up. I do get what you are saying. But for me it’s all about just hoping that they don’t bottle it. That they turn up. That maybe something has sunk in their heads that they need to win a few football matches. And that their old habits are booted down the road. And that they ,the players can somehow dig deep, and get us the results to keep Everton in the PL for next season.
I’m confident. But you are right. This bunch of players could easily bottle everything. But here’s hoping that they don’t. Here’s hoping…..

Gordon Rondon Gray
Richarlison
Delph Alan
Mylo Holgate Mina Coleman/Patterson

Arugable which of these is most able to cope with the pace of the Leicester attack

Leicester were pretty decent at Goodison I thought, certainly played better than the other two teams either side of them. Were very comfortable at 1-0 for most of the game and if Maddison could've shot straight would've wrapped things up with ten minutes left.

That game was less than three weeks ago when they weren't bothered about prem and in europe. Hopefully they don't put out a full strength team but it probably won't be far off that given they have no need to rest players anymore and all of James Justin, Evans, Vardy, Fofana have started less than 20 games.

It will still be a difficult game, hopefully don't concede again after 5 minutes (that was with Mina on the pitch aswell).

Richy missed an open goal in the first half and had a free header from 6 yards out .
Leicester looked good and pretty on the ball . But didn't create a whole pile of chances

All true what you have said. And let’s be honest here, Leicester are a better team than us. I’d love to have a number of their players play for us.
But……and this is a big but…..how will they be affected after that match and defeat the other night. That could be the leveller. That could maybe just give us a chance. But as stated by many , it’s all in our own hands.
By all logic , Leicester should tire as the match goes on. But what’s the odds that we tire first. Everything is all just conjecture. And as our bunch have this habit of letting everyone down, who knows what will happen.
We need to turn up. Get at them from the start. Take our chances. Not exactly rocket science. Just take our chances. Get in front. Then see what happens.
But if Leicester turn up……we are in bother.
I’m banking that they don’t. That the other night has taken something out of them. And that our bunch for once can take advantage. But who knows?
Up the Toffees….

Come on Toffeemen. Win tomorrow. I might just forgive you all for the defeats against Norwich….Watford and Burnley. Well tbh I’ve forgiven them already. That’s all gone. It’s all about tomorrow. Just win this match. Thank you…..
