Sticking my neck on the block here, but if Coleman returns to fitness, Holgate could slot in as a defensive midfielder - did it a couple of times last season (Man City and someone else) to good effect.
Obviously Allan a huge miss, but just thinking alternative here.

I think that's a great idea because he's also passionate and becoming more one of our leaders. Having energy like that in the middle will be really helpful to the team

didn't look good. sort of thing that could plague his season.
tears and niggles in the hamstring can be hard to shake.
needs to find a way to keep loose. hope he's doing some yoga or something.

Would like to see Holgate given a few games at DM to see how he goes.
Was thinking Alan and Sig/Davies either side off him though.
Not sure how Doucoure and Holgate would go together in the mid.
