Leicester postponement

its going to be interesting what teams they put out when they end up playing six games in a fornight at the end of the season

Joke, this article says "Covid is not the principal issue now, but rather injuries"..
It is unclear if they have any COVID worries at all, I think two at most have been speculated.

Since when could a club decide they don't want to play a match because of injuries and Afcon before?

Everton should be going apoplectic at the Premier League for this.

Go ahead with the game anyway, they dont turn up play it through the courts, far to much money at stake for a competition to have rolling rule changes , personally I would prefer to see Benitez in the court room like rumpole , hes convinced a lot of people hes a top manager he should pi55 it convincing a jury.

It. Is. The. Premier. League. Rules. Not. Leicester's.
The rules meant we could not field the required number of squad players (13 +1gk), I know lots don't buy this but its true.

Anyhow, good luck for the future, I am just off to make some fake positive COVID tests :bye:

How can they play Saturday then suddenly decide not to play the following Tuesday because it doesn't suit them right now.

Premier league needs to get a grip and start threatening points deductions and make sure these test are not a load of false positive hocus pocus

Not right at all, he could still put a team out even with some younger players like we have to do.

Agreed, we have always been far too quiet about BS..

Leicester may have acted within the rules but you've just beat a Premier League team 4-1 at the weekend. Why is Rodgers so afraid of Everton that he's willing to risk a major fixture pile up? Not like Leicester are battling for top 4.

If it was a team of kids I could understand but they had mostly senior players in the team at the weekend, including goalkeeper.

Just me that finds it amazeballs that the NHS is struggling through this, but Leicester and the RS have ground to a halt?

Gonna give all 3 a clap on Thursday.

Liverpool just pulled a fast one so they could have a few players back for the semi final which their season rests on as City will win everything else.

Leicester seem to be buying time to get injured players back/end of AFCOn but they're leaving themselves with a real fixture pile up. They're still in Europe where they'd expect to go far in the Conference league and still in the FA Cup.

Honestly I struggle to have any ill will towards Leicester just based on this. Its absolute BS, and total c-nut behaviour, of course it is, but its the PL who are fully to blame. They're taking advantage of a shambolic system.

My primary concern is, how much have we kicked off? Anything less than absolute fury at the PL is unacceptable.

Also, wtf is Rodgers playing at not wanting to play us at the moment, even with a load of injuries?

Everton need to get this pushed to a time that is good for us and bad for Leicester.

Likely the PL cant extend this season because of the World Cup so lets get it pushed to a date where Leicester then have to play 3 or 4 games in a week.

and for Jebus sake Everton appoint a decent Magic Circle Law firm to make our case (and also threaten legal action if PL doesn't back us)

Potentially big big money involved here so we need to let them know we are deadly serious about this.

Hopefully Forest will kick a few more of them off the field and into the treatment room during the cup game.
