Right, @Khalekan from reading of the UEFA CL regs, if the UCL winner doesn't finish in the top 4, then #4 team gets bumped into EL, and thus the EL allocation is effectively reduced by 1.

So 4th would be EL (and 3rd would go into the qualifying phase) , and the two remaining domestic cup holders would still qualify normally.

I really remember them changing that so if a team outside the top 4 wins the CL they bump that 4th team but not replaced them. So 5 teams max from any league in CL I thought?

No idea the ramifications of Europa tho
 

Morning, im a first time post on this forum, i was looking for some advise, i bought 4 tickets for the Leicester game on Sunday 9th April but since they won last night the game is being moved to the Saturday and i cant make the game due to other commitments. What is the best way to sell these tickets or if anyone is interested, face valve of course.

I am still very sceptical about that.

I don't think them winning it will affect our Europa League prospects.

But if it does.....only Everton would miss out on a European adventure because Leicester flipping City were Champions of Europe :Blink:

That raises another question :cool:

Defending champions now automatically defend their title and if they finish outside the top fur they do not take the place of the fourth placed team.

Five teams from that country go into the CL.

But.

Nowadays the team that wins the EL is also given a place in the next season's CL.

So......if Leicester win the CL.

And Manchester United win the EL, but finish outside the top four.

What happens then?

Will England be allowed six teams in the CL?

Or will the fourth placed team miss out?

Imagine that was the case and the RS finished fourth :dance:

There would be mass Hari Kari over on RAWK :pint2:
