Leighton Baines & Marouane Fellaini Thread

So in other words City are hanging on to the bitter end praying that someone will come in & take him at the death & if that doesn't materialise they'll accept our loan offer.

Is he on £130k per week or something stupid? If they can get something for him and not have to pay half his wages you can't blame them. They might decide to just release him. If we've got Gibson and Fernando I wouldn't fancy a huge slice of our wages budget going on someone to keep Ossie company on the bench.

We seem to be excited about the prospects of adding Fernando and maybe one or two others (rightly so), but there's a 'kick back' in that Fellaini is seems to be on his way. Sad.

But it could be for as much as 30m.

I think he is boss, but that's too much money for a man who also really wants this move.

He's not even a goal threat in the position that Martinez plays him, New striker please Roberto

I think that's partly why he's going. If Barkley is going to be our furthest forward midfielder it's a waste to have our biggest asset protecting the back four. I think he could have rotated them during a game though. £8.5-£9m is a pretty decent amount of loose change for a forward. If Vic is going too we'll have enough for a Sturridge or a Bony!

All well and good saying that mate but at least you have seen Everton win things and have a good team.

A lot of blues have never seen us win anything apart from selling our best players every transfer window.

What you've never had you never miss - unlike those of us who supported the team through the glorious 60s and late 80s. You think it's 'easy'?

He's on a reported £125k per week mate, no-one is going to take him off their hands at that sort of wage level. They can't release him without paying up his contract in full. I'll be amazed if he's still a City player come 11.01 tonight personally.
