Looks like the plan was to say the LB spot is Baines' first and challenge Digne to win it from him. Baines did well the first two games, but his lack of pace was shown up a bit today. I expect Digne to come in now or after the international break 100%.

Baines will be a great back-up and option for cup games.

When we concede away from home they visibly pale and their heads go down, because they’ve been there too many times before as part of teams that have choked and thrown games away. When that’s your captain, of course it’s going to spread.
